New to PBC

Choosing a church family can be a tough decision. You may be looking to find a place to develop life-long friendships and relationships; or for a timely sermon or study addressing issues in your life; or maybe you are looking for a church that attempts to minister to your entire family. We are a church who loves God and who loves to serve others. We are not perfect. Our goal in life is to be more like Jesus but many times we fall short of that. We hope that you find Parkway to be a warm, inviting place where God’s Spirit can be felt and where His love can be experienced. We look forward to meeting you.

What should I wear?
At Parkway, we encourage you to come as you are. Most people attend wearing business-casual attire. Don’t be surprised if you see a few suits and ties, as well as people wearing jeans. God sees our heart and that’s what He cares about; it’s not about the style of clothing we choose.

When are the service times?
On Sunday mornings we have small group Bible studies for all ages from 9:30 to 10:30am. Afterwards there is a time to socialize and have a light snack in the Fellowship Hall before the worship begins at 11:00am. On Sunday evenings we offer a Bible Study that begins at 6:00pm in the Sanctuary. Our Wednesday night activities for all ages are from 6:30-7:30pm. On the Contact Us page you will find a link to Google Maps for help with directions.

Where do I go once I arrive?
You’ll have two options for entering if you park in the main parking lot. You may enter through the doors under the sheltered walkway—basement level (handicap accessible; after entering the church go left down the hallway and take the elevator to the 1st floor; exit to the left and someone will be waiting to assist you at the welcome table) or you may come up the concrete steps and be on the first floor (after entering go right toward the welcome table and someone will be glad to direct you). What about my children?
From 9:30-10:30am we have small group Bible Study classes for all ages. Your children will be cared for and taught with children of similar age or grade. At the 11:00am Worship Service children, birth to age 5, are welcome to stay during the entirety of the Worship Service or if you would prefer, we do offer childcare for those ages during the service. The nursery and preschool rooms are located on the 2nd floor (when getting off of the elevator or taking the stairs, go to the left when you reach the 2nd floor). We have a very capable and well-trained childcare staff that will make your child’s stay with us enjoyable and safe. The children’s classes, grades 1-3 and grades 4-6, are located on the 3rd floor (turn right at the top of the steps or if taking the elevator, the classrooms will be directly in front of you when you exit).
